Kitchener's Call

Drawn by Alfred Leete, the well known "Punch" artist, this was the most famous and effective of all the recruiting posters designed to draw men to the colours and inspire them with the belief that their heroism was being devoted to a just and holy cause. The face is, of course, that of Lord Kitchener himself.
